BID PREPARATION FOR CIVIL CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
We use CCS Candy to build up our rates and tender programmes from first principles. We have successfully led the tender process for a range of projects from slip repairs to water/wastewater treatment plants, with the majority of these being competitive tenders, we have had the opportunity to tender and negotiate projects with industry leading businesses. With the skills and experience we have gained over the past 9 years in the civil construction industry we offer my estimating and bid preparation services.

Reviewing tender documents and presenting the client with a scope summary.

Providing the client with a bid planner, identifying reviews and key dates.

Requesting quotes from the market to ensure competitive market rates.

Build up rates from first principles including final checks and balances.

Preparation of the tender programme to suit preferred methodology, we can assist with the writing of methodologies as well.

Finalization of the tender price, presenting the price to the client for final review (line by line review of CCS file and PowerPoint presentation summarizing the price) and making relevant changes before finalization of the bid.

Provide Price reports from CCS summarizing the price.

Add margin to net rates and complete client schedule of prices for submission.

Assisting with negotiations of price with either an independent estimator or the Principal.
